Year II - Master of Implant Dentistry
2 Semesters – 3 Sessions – 300 hours
Semester I
Session I: Advanced Implant Surgeries – Patient procedures
● Principles of Bone grafting – autogenous, allogenic, xenogenic and alloplastic graft materials.
● Guided tissue regenerative procedures:
○ 1. membranes resorbable and non resorbable
○ 2. titanium mesh
○ 3. distraction osteogenesis
○ Sinus grafts.
○ PRP and Growth factors.
Session II: Soft tissue Procedures for Esthetic Enhancements
● Concepts of biologic width and scalloped implants.
● Soft tissue augmentation and flap design for enhanced esthetics.
● Tissue sculpting and papilla preservation techniques.
Semester II
Session III: Advanced Maxillofacial Considerations
● Zygomatic implants.
● Pterygoid Implants.
● Subperiosteal implants.
● All on x with immediate conversions.
